TALi Information Pack
At TALi, we’re all about attention.
Attention is commonly separated into three core networks. Each of these domains are distinct but operate through overlapping neural circuits within the brain.
Two ground-breaking TALi technologies.
TALi is non-invasive and evidence-based, offering schools an invaluable assesment and intervention tool for their toolkit.
TALi DETECT is a non-invasive tool that can be very effective in identifying children with above average or lower than average attention skills. It uses seven digital games that provide an indication of a child’s ability to selectively attend to important information, appreciate different perspectives and employ self-control to resist distractions.
TALi TRAIN is an attention training program, leveraging 25 years of research. The program strengthens attention skills in five weeks to deliver measurable and meaningful improvements. It’s a fun, engaging and evidence-based approach to early intervention that is able to make lasting changes in attention.
Basic Operational Requirements
Your school will need the following hardware and connectivity to participate in the program.
You will need one touchscreen tablet per child (Apple or Android).
You will need headphones for each child to eliminate as many distractions as feasible.
You will need an internet connection to log in and out of TALi apps and upload data upon session completion.
Comprehensive reporting on your students’ attention skills.
As part of DETECT, each child receives a comprehensive attention assessment report and a unique, personal TALi Attention Profile.
Any students who could have attention problems and continue on to the TRAIN component will receive ongoing reporting on their training progress.
Backed by over 25 years’ research.
Validated by Gold Standard clinical trials, TALi TRAIN is proven to improve selective attention accuracy and numeracy skills. Evidence also shows improvements in inattentive and hyperactive behaviour in the classroom environment.

People love TALi.
A lot of these children that came to us with attention difficulties were also being treated by medical professionals using psycho-stimulant medication such as Ritalin. As an education developmental psychologist with a keen interest in developmental disorders, TALi seemed to address the gaps that I was looking for as a clinician.
As a psychologist, it’s important that all interventions that we endorse are evidence-based. TALi is scientifically proven to be effective, and this gives me great confidence and trust in recommending TALi to parents. Parents are reporting overall improvements in their child’s attention behaviours.

When we first started playing TALi TRAIN, Jake really loved it and was always keen to play. Weeks 3 & 4 were a bit harder to get him motivated but once he started he was fine. What I loved most about TALi TRAIN was how much it would calm him down after school, which helped with his behaviour in the evening. Jake flourished at school during the 5 weeks of TALi TRAIN and was often given ‘star of the day’ in class because of how attentive he was being. Overall, I would highly recommend the program to any school age child struggling to pay attention.
Deana — Parent of Jake, a 7 year-old with ADHD
I’ve seen a really big change in my student. He couldn’t focus at all before.
My student that has been undertaking the TALi Training is not the same boy that started the program. It’s been really fabulous to see the results that we’ve been able to get.
Michelle McLaren — Teacher, Prep
