At TALi, we’re all about attention.

Attention is commonly separated into three core networks. Each of these domains are distinct but operate through overlapping neural circuits within the brain.

1 TALi DETECT

TALi DETECT is a non-invasive tool that can be very effective in identifying children with above average or lower than average attention skills. It uses seven digital games that provide an indication of a child’s ability to selectively attend to important information, appreciate different perspectives and employ self-control to resist distractions.

2 TALi TRAIN

TALi TRAIN is an attention training program, leveraging 25 years of research. The program strengthens attention skills in five weeks to deliver measurable and meaningful improvements. It’s a fun, engaging and evidence-based approach to early intervention that is able to make lasting changes in attention.

Basic Operational Requirements

Your school will need the following hardware and connectivity to participate in the program.

Touchscreen Tablets

You will need one touchscreen tablet per child (Apple or Android).

Headphones

You will need headphones for each child to eliminate as many distractions as feasible.

Wifi Connection

You will need an internet connection to log in and out of TALi apps and upload data upon session completion.

Comprehensive reporting on your students’ attention skills.

As part of DETECT, each child receives a comprehensive attention assessment report and a unique, personal TALi Attention Profile.

Any students who could have attention problems and continue on to the TRAIN component will receive ongoing reporting on their training progress.

A lot of these children that came to us with attention difficulties were also being treated by medical professionals using psycho-stimulant medication such as Ritalin.
